Exports

At Forth Valley Vets we have several qualified Official Veterinarians (OV's). We can provide certification for worldwide export of animals and products of animal origin.

Export Health Certificates (EHC's) are required to allow the export of animals and products of animal origin to Third countries and EU member states. We are able to provide certification for export of farm animals, avian and horses.

From the 1st January 2021, the UK has left the European Union. New requirements on providing certification of products of animal origin by an OV must be followed in order to export these goods. An OV will determine that these products are suitable for export from the UK to their intended destination. All traceability and supporting evidence must be examined to ensure the requirements are met from both countries. 

We can provide support attestations for the Group Export Facilitation Scheme (GEFS).
