Emma Buchanan

Emma graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2019 and worked in Biggar doing mixed practice until she joined us in June 2022.  While she was a student, she gained EMS experience at Struthers and Scott and Forth Valley and it was always her hope to join us in the future.  Although a huge dog lover, her veterinary interests are mainly in Farm and Equine with additional interests in Alpacas and exotic species. 

In her spare time, Emma enjoys Ballroom and Latin-American dancing, horse riding, spending time walking her dog, gardening, water sports and generally anything else outdoors!  She is also kept busy looking after her collection of rescue pets including Leo the horse, Shadow the dog, Puck the tortoise, 12 birds, 2 rabbits and some fish.
